Lesson Description:

Maritime archaeology is the study of past human cultures with an emphasis on how humans interacted with Earth’s waterways and coasts. In this lesson, students model site documentation techniques used by maritime archaeologists to answer the question: How do archaeologists document maritime heritage sites that are submerged in rivers, lakes, or the ocean?
