Ashton Flinders, a  research physicist with the U.S. Geological Survey, talks to students about earthquakes and volcanoes. Ocean Discovery Day was hosted by the 2025 Aleutian Arc expedition science team in partnership with the Qawalangin Tribe of Unalaska and the Museum of the Aleutians. It featured hands-on activities that brought deep-sea science to life for local students.
