Slice of Bubblegum Coral
A slice of bubblegum coral (Paragorgia sp.) collected during the 2025 Aleutian Arc expedition. Expedition scientists are studying coral and sponge reproduction. If you look closely at the edges of this, you can see little pockets of eggs (white spheres), which means this coral is a female.
