Senator’s Lifeboat
An image of Senator’s starboard side lifeboat captured by the still camera on the hybrid autonomous underwater vehicle/remotely operated vehicle. Located roughly 92 meters (300 feet) off the starboard side of Senator’s main wreckage, this lifeboat was first found during fieldwork for the Exploring Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary at Scale project in 2026 and imaged for the first time during the fieldwork in 2026.
