Glass Sponge Collection
Glass sponge (Hexactinellid) grasped in the claw of one of remotely operated vehicle Deep Discoverer’s manipulator arms. This sponge was characteristic of the Dive 08 dive site on Kaʻena Slope during the 2025 ROV and Mapping Shakedown expedition.
