Icy in appearance, this soft coral from the family Nidaliidae was seen at a depth of 492 meters (1,614 feet) while exploring the waters of the Wake Atoll Unit of the Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument during the 2016 Deepwater Wonders of Wake expedition.
