Anemone
An anemone (Relicanthus daphneae) with its tentacles flowing in the current. This individual was seen in a crack on a sheer rock face on Kaʻena Slope during Dive 08 of the 2025 ROV and Mapping Shakedown expedition. Dive 08 was one of two dives focused on testing a new lighting system with the cameras on remotely operated vehicle Deep Discoverer.
