USS Nevada Main Hull
Part of the main hull of USS Nevada explored during Dive 03 of the 2025 ROV and Mapping expedition. Nevada sustained significant damage while being used for naval weapons testing prior to its deliberate sinking in 1948. Today, the hull rests upside down and relatively intact on the seafloor — surrounded by a widely scattered debris field — south of Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.
