An underwater photograph looks down into the open, square shaft of the car elevator on the sunken wreck of the car ferry Senator. The sides of the shaft are dark, heavily encrusted with marine growth and coral, and appear to be made of metal beams. The bottom of the shaft is filled with sand and silt. The murky, green water is visible around and within the structure. A long, encrusted beam runs diagonally across the left side of the frame.
