Nicole Miller joined NOAA Ocean Exploration and the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research Cooperative Programs for the Advancement of Earth Systems Science in January 2023 as the NOAA 'Omics Coordinator. In this role Nicole organizes agency-wide efforts for increased impact and optimization of ‘omics data. In addition, she supports NOAA Ocean Exploration efforts in strategic implementation of 'omics technologies and data to meet mission priorities. Prior to joining NOAA, Nicole worked within the medical device industry and received her Master's of Science in ecology and Bachelor's of Science in microbiology, both from the University of Florida.
