Until next time, Orpheus! On May 25, Orpheus took its last dive as a part of the 2021 Technology Demonstration. The Orpheus team (consisting of members of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory) was able to conduct a total of 8 dives and gathered data from field operations over the last two weeks that will be key to informing the project moving forward.
