Stalked Glass Sponge
A beautiful stalked glass sponge seen at 2,606 meters (1.62 miles) depth during Dive 04 of the second Voyage to the Ridge 2022 expedition. The long stalk serves to extend the cup of the sponge into the water column for feeding.
