This glass sponge (Aspidoscopulia sp.) was seen at a depth of 2,143 meters (1.3 miles) during a 2016 remotely operated vehicle dive on Alba Seamount between Guam and Wake Island inside the Wake Unit of what is now the Pacific Islands Heritage Marine National Monument.
