This little fish, likely a rosy dory, was seen swimming just above the seafloor during an Océano Profundo 2015: Exploring Puerto Rico’s Seamounts, Trenches, and Troughs expedition dive to explore a site east of Vieques Island and to the south of St. Thomas, at depths between 460-772 meters (~1,520-2,530 feet).

One of the main objectives of the dive was to observe deepwater fishes and that objective was met, with at least 16 different species of deepwater fishes (including this little dory!) seen during the dive.
