A goosefish is well camouflaged in any habitat! During the Deepwater Canyons 2012: Pathways to the Abyss expedition, the team documented a great variety of fishes on the seafloor. Most of the continental slope fishes in the area explored during the expedition are well known to science, but many may not have been seen alive, displaying numerous color patterns and a variety of behaviors. The views available from the remotely operated cameras of the living fishes in their habitats provided a unique perspective and invaluable information..
