November 18, 2020: Cutthroat Eel With Squid Snack

While exploring the eastern wall of McMaster Canyon, approximately 80 miles southeast of Long Island, New York, during the Our Deepwater Backyard: Exploring Atlantic Canyons and Seamounts 2014 expedition, we saw this cutthroat eel snacking on a recently caught squid.

While exploring the eastern wall of McMaster Canyon, approximately 80 miles southeast of Long Island, New York, during the Our Deepwater Backyard: Exploring Atlantic Canyons and Seamounts 2014 expedition, we saw this cutthroat eel snacking on a recently caught squid.
