November 11, 2020: Fish and Anemone

During the final dive of the Northeast U.S. Canyons Expedition 2013, while exploring a landslide debris field at a depth of ~900 meters (2,953 feet) between Alvin and Nantucket Canyons off the New England coast, the team encountered this fish in the genus Cottunculus finding refuge next to a boulder covered with several flytrap anemones. The fish doesn’t look too happy, does it?
