September 16, 2020: Coral Forest

On Dive 03 of the Mountains in the Deep: Exploring the Central Pacific Basin expedition, we found a veritable coral forest. The colors on this dive were phenomenal. In the foreground of this image, the large polyps of an Anthomastus contrast with a yellow crinoid attached to a pink precious coral.
