Bamboo Coral
A bamboo coral (Adinisis sp.) observed on the twelfth dive of the Papahānaumokuākea ROV and Mapping expedition. Polyps on this colony retracted in response to remotely operated vehicle Deep Discoverer's presence. The observation was made at a depth of 2,374 meters (7,789 feet).
