Listen to marine mammal calls observed by a hand held hydrophone in Marion Cove near Korean Antarctic base. Three calls, two at 350Hz and one at 240Hz are most likely Minke whales at a distance outside of the cove. Sounds in the 100-175Hz range are the engine noises coming from the R/V Yuzhomorgeologiya anchored in the same cove. Sounds courtesy of NOAA/Vents, Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI)
