Arctic tern eggs

Arctic tern eggs revealed

Antarctic tern (Sterna vittata) nests were located within a meter of the trail.  Their camouflaged eggs required a sharp eye to avoid being stepped upon.  Try and locate the eggs in this picture. Roll your mouse over to see if you found them. Image courtesy of NOAA/Vents, Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI)
