Submersible pilot Phil Santos:  “Are these the types of corals you want?  These small little white ones?”

Scientist Dr. Julie Olson:  “Stylasters?  Nope, I don’t think so.”

Phil Santos:  “We’re underway due north by a series of rolling hills here.  Sand dunes, basically, with a lot of dead coral rubble on them and it looks like we’re running sort of perpendicular to them….over hills and across valleys.”
