This lovely crinoid swam by the porthole of the Alvin during the last dive on Warwick Seamount and was caught on tape by a hand-held video camera from inside the sub. It is easy to see why these elegant creatures are commonly referred to as 'sea lilies'. Video courtesy of Peter Etnoyer, WHOI, NOAA, the Alvin Group, and the 2002 GOA Expedition science party.
