While enroute to Milwaukee, the Isaac M. Scott encountered a storm which blasted 60 - 70 mph winds. This storm, referred to as the Great Storm of 1913, raged for 16 hours, sank and the Scott, claiming all 28 lives onboard. Image courtesy of Thunder Bay 2001, NOAA-OER.
