NOAA Ocean Explorer: Wolf Eelpout

The wolf eelpout is a bottom dweller. Unlike most fish, they do not have a swim bladder. At this latitude, they are only found in deep water where the temperature range is similar to that of shallower, northern waters where they are commonly found.
