Styrofoam coffee cups (front row) were compressed after being carried 3,000 ft to the ocean
bottom by the Johnson-Sea-Link II. The three styrofoam wig heads
were originally identical in size. The middle head was taken down to about 2,000
ft depth, and the head on the right was taken down to 3,000 ft.
