Benthic bioluminescence in bamboo coral

Benthic bioluminescence in the bamboo coral, Keratoisis flexibilis. When you rub up against this coral it releases astonishing amounts of slime and lights up like a Christmas tree. The purpose of its bioluminescence is unknown.
