A dense collection of anemones in the genus Liponema seen during the deeper half of the dive to Denson Seamount (Dive 08) during the Seascape Alaska 5 expedition. These pom-pom-like anemones were rather large compared to other invertebrates seen on the dive. They were abundant along the basaltic rocky outcrops and rock faces. Among the anemones were mating pairs of orange sea slugs (Pleurobranchaea sp.), which were each slightly larger than a golf ball.
