On Dive 07 of Windows to the Deep 2021, upon reaching the seafloor, we found that the most dominant group of organisms were hexactinellid (glass) sponges and demosponges, mostly white or off-white in color and arranged in interesting rows, as shown in this image of remotely operated vehicle Deep Discoverer traversing the seafloor.
