The cusk eel, Leucicorus lusciosus (Garman, 1899). This fish is rarely encountered - the whole genus is known from a collection of fewer than 20 individuals. This species was previously known only from the eastern tropical Pacific. Although the eye is large, we don't think they can actually see images, as the eye does not have a fully formed lens.
