We had a great end to Dive 01 of the second Voyage to the Ridge 2022 expedition – a goosefish sighting! Fish like this one in the family Lophiidae are commonly associated with the coral rubble that we saw throughout the dive. Goosefish sit absolutely still while waving their lures, then strike with lightning fast speed!
