Unusual Coral
Particularly large at approximately 80 centimeters (31 inches) long, with a mix of Chrysogorgia and Metallogorgia traits, this unusual coral (family Chrysogorgiidae) was seen on an unnamed seamount during the Beyond the Blue: Papahānaumokuākea ROV and Mapping expedition and may be new to science.
