The ROV has been lowered into the water, and the green umbilical cable is visible. During the expedition, the ROV will be used to collect imagery at locations with anomalies identified in the side-scan sonar data collected by the REMUS 600 vehicles during the Deepwater Surveys of World War II U.S. Cultural Assets in the Saipan Channel expedition.
