Satellite data (coarser bottom layer) overlaid with the entire
EM300 bathymetry data set (higher resolution top layer), collected on the
2003 OE Ring of Fire expedition. The fly-over is from south to north along
the volcanic Mariana arc. Islands are green. Island data are from the
Shuttle Radar Topography Mission , courtesy of USGS and NASA. EM300 bathymetry (35 meter grid), islands (30 meter grids), satellite (3500 meter grid).
