side scan sonar image of the Grecian

The Grecian ran aground on a reef and was severely damaged on June 7, 1906. Repairs were made, but while under tow to Detroit, a storm sank the vessel in Thunder Bay on June 15, 1906. Although her stern is collapsing, her engine, boilers and prop are still intact.
