The characteristic spiral of the beautiful Iridigorgia coral is apparent in this image. This coral was seen at a depth of 1,163 meters (3,816 feet) growing on a large outcrop of basaltic debris, or talus, during Dive 08 of the second Voyage to the Ridge 2022 expedition.
