Welcome to the Ocean Explorer Library, a selection of resources significant to NOAA's historical and current ocean exploration activities. Resources include Web sites, historical books and documents, expedition reports, and journal articles. The library is composed of three collections: Publications, Selected Readings, and NOAA Exploration Offices.

Publications
Selected citations from papers and reports published as a result of NOAA or NOAA-sponsored ocean exploration activities. On-line access is available for a limited number of these publications.

Selected Readings
Information regarding books, documents, and reports from NOAA's rare book collection that are significant to the history of ocean exploration. These publications can be further researched in the NOAA Central Library.

NOAA Exploration Offices
A listing of the main NOAA programs and offices engaged in ocean exploration activities.
