Transcript:

Video shows octopus reaching out with two of his tentacles to explore a tool that a diver (off screen) has placed near it.

Voice: The octopus looks like a head with eight arms, but it is a mollusk related to squid, snails and clams. They are very smart and have good eyesight. But, did you know that they have three hearts? Their mouth is in the center of their arms and has a beak, like a parrot's beak, for biting through crab shells and eating fish. Most octopuses are about the size of your hand and only live a year or two, but the Giant Pacific Octopus can grow much larger with arms stretching 10 feet in each direction.
