Video shows dark, choppy ocean surface with seven or more whales dorsal fins calming breaking the rough surface. They appear to be bobbing up and down with the waves.

Voice: Whales are mammals as are bats, rats, elephants and cats. All mammals breathe air, feed milk to their young, are warm blooded and have hair. But have you ever seen a hairy whale? Nearly all hair is gone when they are grown up, but as babies whales have few whiskers around their mouth. Did you know there are about 80 kinds of whales, or species? Some have teeth such as the sperm whales, beaked whales, and dolphins, while others have a hairy mustache in their mouth known as plates of baleen. Baleen is made of the same stuff as your hair and fingernails, but hangs down inside their mouth where you have your top teeth. It acts like a comb to help them catch the small, abundant plankton such as krill. The blue whale, northern right whale and humpback whale are examples of baleen whales.
