This short video clip portrays most of the significant events undertaken to install the hydrophone array at Pioneer Seamount on August 31, 2001. The array is the first public cabled array ever to be installed in U.S. waters, and it is currently delivering ocean sound data live via the Internet.

Although the video is only 90 seconds long, it represents more than 14 hours of effort.
