crinoid, gastropod, and sponges


A crinoid (the feather star in foreground) is accompanied by gastropods and sponges on a rock outcrop at 150 m water depth. The two red dots (upper center), spaced 10 cm apart, are lasers used to determine the size of organisms in the image transmitted by the ROV.
