Pink frogmouth fish

This fish, originally thought to be a pink deepsea anglerfish (Chaunax pictus), tries to scare off the Johnson Sea-Link by raising itself on its pelvic fins. Also seen in the photo are white deepsea branching corals. The fish has subsequently been identified as a redeye gaper exit icon. Image courtesy of Islands in the Stream 2001, NOAA/OER.
