The 2008 survey will expand outward from the 2004 and 2006 search areas. The remote sensing and visual searches of the inshore and fringing reef together with the magnetometer search of the area from the reef seaward to a depth of 40 feet from Lorimer’s Point to Drum Point will complete the first comprehensive underwater cultural heritage survey undertaken in the Turks & Caicos Islands.
