View a slideshow of the Northeastern Gulf of Mexico 2008 exploration. During the course of this fieldwork, we located and mapped in high resolution several kilometers of a large, essentially intact, and infilled paleo-river channel east of the Florida Middle Grounds; identified additional (possibly tributary) buried stream and river channels; and located and identified more than 100 infilled areas.
