Maug submarine volcanic caldera (rainbow colors), surrounded by the three Maug islands (white with green tops). Depths within the caldera range from 0 to 241 meters (0 to -790 feet). The islands reach a height of 187 meters (613 feet). The island and EM300 bathymetry data are 2.5 times vertically exaggerated, with a resolution of 5-10 meters at this water depth.
