A Swiftia polyp with small "pinnae" projections along each tentacle.

Octocorals, in the subclass Alcyonaria, have eight pinnate tentacles, whereas scleractinian corals have six non-pinnate tentacles. The “pinnae” are seen here in the small projections along each tentacle of this Swiftia polyp.
