The Johnson Sea-Link submersible resting on deck between dives. It takes the submersible 3-6 hours to charge its batteries between dives. Each dive lasts about three hours. This gives us an hour-and-a-half to two hours to work on the bottom because it takes about 45 minutes to dive down to 1700 feet.
