Tom Bolmer points to the computer screen on which we will be editing the multibeam data for any outliers that may occur in the data collection process. Outliers are data points that fall outside the normal range of the other points and can be thrown away. These errors in data collection can occur just like any computer system can have temporary lapses in processing correctly.
